Job summary

The Vanguard Group is seeking a Payroll Analyst in Ireland to compile and audit payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with regulations. You will support entry and preparation of payroll and advise managers on payroll-related questions in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires at least three years of relevant experience and an undergraduate degree, with accounting/finance degrees or professional designations preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
• FPC, CPP, or other financial designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audits and analyzes payroll data from various sources and loads data into the payroll system.
• Manages base pay and non-base pay components and reconciliations in compliance with regulations.
• Researches and resolves complex payroll issues and identifies trends in system reports.
• Tests new payroll requirements and ensures data accuracy and completeness.
• Provides consultative guidance to management and peers based on payroll knowledge.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
