Job summary

Renewable Careers Limited in Dublin is seeking a driven engineer to support our project pipeline across wind, solar and BESS. You will learn from seasoned engineers while taking real responsibility from day one, helping with design reviews, energy yield assessments and grid connection processes.

You will develop technical and analytical skills, participate in a structured development path with mentorship, and have exposure to the full project lifecycle across three technologies, with travel to

Qualifications

• A degree (2.1 or above) in electrical, mechanical, civil or environmental engineering, or a related field.
• Genuine interest in renewable energy and Ireland's energy transition.
• Strong analytical ability and comfort working with data and spreadsheets.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to make technical topics simple.
• Initiative and curiosity: you take ownership, ask good questions and learn quickly.
• The right to work in Ireland.
• Internships or project experience in energy are an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting engineering design and technical reviews for wind, solar and BESS projects at every stage.
• Preparing energy yield assessments, site evaluations and technical due diligence.
• Assisting with grid connection applications and coordination with EirGrid and ESB Networks processes.
• Reviewing technical submittals from EPC contractors, consultants and equipment suppliers.
• Supporting construction and commissioning, with travel to project sites across Ireland.
• Analyzing performance data from our operating assets and recommending improvements.
• Contributing to the tools, templates and standards our engineering team relies on.
