Job summary

MOR Environmental is seeking an ambitious environmental consultant to join our Renewables team in Ireland. The role focuses on supporting project managers, conducting site surveys, data analysis, and drafting environmental reports for solar, battery storage, and onshore wind projects.

The position is hybrid, based in one of our offices in Dublin, Shannon or Tullamore, with some travel around the country for surveys and site visits.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in environmental science or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Familiarity with planning and environmental legislation.
• Competent in technical report writing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessment chapters for renewable clients.
• Assist project managers with data review and report coordination.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and present findings.
• Conduct environmental surveying and fieldwork as needed.
• Stay updated with relevant legislation and guidelines.
• Prepare technical reports and support client communications.
• Engage with regulatory bodies and subcontractors.
