Job summary

MOR Environmental is seeking an ambitious Environmental Consultant to join our Renewables team in Ireland. You will work on solar farms, battery storage, and onshore wind projects, supporting managers to deliver high quality work on time and within budget.

This hybrid role is based in Dublin, Shannon or Tullamore with potential travel. The role emphasizes data analysis, report writing, field surveys and staying updated on environmental legislation.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (or higher) in environmental science or a related field.
• Qualifications in planning will be considered if candidates have interest and understanding of environmental issues.
• Familiarity with relevant legislation and planning application process.
• Competent in technical report writing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
• Full clean driving licence.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
• Member of a relevant professional body.
• Access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessment chapters under guidance.
• Assist project managers on projects with data review, research, and report coordination.
• Data analysis, interpretation, and presentation.
• Environmental surveying.
• Keep up to date with statutory guidelines and legislation.
• Technical report writing.
• Engage with external stakeholders such as regulatory bodies and subcontractors.
• Communicate with clients and attend project meetings as required.
