Job summary

Unijobs on behalf of our client is recruiting a Payroll Officer in Carlow on a temporary 3-month contract. The role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with a hybrid option: 3 days on-site, 2 days working from home.

You will process monthly payroll changes, administer PAYE Modernisation, ensure statutory deductions, assist with Auto Enrolment pension and handle payroll queries with accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Qualification (Leaving Certificate or equivalent) required.
• Experience in a busy payroll role essential.
• Knowledge of PAYE, PRSI, USC and pension deductions.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll changes and amendments within deadlines.
• Administer PAYE Modernisation and Revenue submissions.
• Ensure statutory deductions and pension contributions are correctly applied.
