Job summary

Lincoln Recruitment Specialists is seeking an experienced HR Manager to own the HR function across a growing organisation. The role is broad, hands-on, and will work closely with senior management and line managers to deliver the people strategy while ensuring strong HR processes and compliance.

The position involves travel between Galway and Dublin, with hybrid working and a full clean driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR management or senior HR generalist roles, ideally in logistics/FMCG.
• Solid understanding of employment law, employee relations and HR processes.
• Experience partnering with senior management and line managers.
• Experience managing absence and employee relations, including complex HR cases.
• Strong knowledge of HR systems and personnel administration.
• Experience coordinating with external HR, recruitment, training or occupational health providers.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing the HR strategy in line with wider business objectives.
• Advising senior management and line managers on all aspects of HR and employee relations.
• Keeping up to date with employment legislation, employee relations developments and labour‑market trends.
• Supporting managers with performance management, employee relations and people‑related decision making.
• Managing HR policies, procedures and employment conditions, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
• Overseeing HR administration, employee records and HR systems.
• Managing absence and occupational health processes, including acting as a case manager where required.
• Supporting recruitment and selection processes and advising managers on best practice.
• Managing relationships with external HR, recruitment, training and occupational health providers.
• Supporting learning and development initiatives.
• Advising on health & safety, working conditions and related HR matters.
• Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes, systems and ways of working.
• Providing regular HR reporting and updates to senior management.
