Job summary

Datavant Ireland, a Galway-based R&D technology center, is seeking an Enterprise Application Support Engineer to ensure reliability and operational stability of enterprise applications and cloud platforms. You will troubleshoot, lead cross-functional incident responses, and mentor teams across Engineering, Product, and Customer Success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing solutions using Python.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting cloud-based applications using AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Minimum 2 years of customer-facing technical support or similar experience.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS or mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the highest technical escalation point for complex customer issues involving enterprise applications and cloud-based platforms.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents across applications, integrations, databases, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Investigate defects, configuration issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures.
• Perform root cause analysis and assist engineering with corrective actions.
• Monitor health, performance, and availability to identify operational risks.
