Job summary

Renewable Careers Limited in Cork is seeking a graduate analyst to join our clean energy team. You will work at the analytical heart of the business, building models, researching markets and supporting decisions across development, finance and operations.

This entry-level role offers a structured development path with mentorship and exposure to multiple technologies. Hybrid work from our Cork office, with a starting salary of €45,000–€55,000, plus pension contributions and generous leave.

Qualifications

• A degree (2.1 or above) in finance, economics, engineering, environmental science, data analytics or related field.
• Genuine interest in renewable energy and the clean energy transition.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with Excel; knowledge of Python/SQL is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain models for project economics, energy production and market analysis.
• Research markets, policy, technologies and competitors to inform decisions.
• Support due diligence on new projects and acquisitions with data from across the business.
• Analyse operating fleet data and report on trends and improvements.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations for project teams and senior leadership.
• Support development team with data for grid applications, planning and site selection.
• Improve spreadsheets, tools and datasets used by the company.
