Job summary

Clúid Housing is seeking a Compliance and Data Protection Manager to lead governance, risk and privacy initiatives. The role is based in Ireland with a hybrid working model, embedding compliance into business decisions and creating a culture of accountability.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will design and implement programmes, oversee data protection processes, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation while guiding a dedicated team and collaborating with regulators.

Qualifications

• Experience leading audits, investigations, regulatory reporting, assurance activities and organisational compliance programmes.
• Ability to influence executive and senior leadership teams on governance, risk and compliance matters.
• Strong knowledge of data protection legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical policies and sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead organisation-wide initiatives to improve compliance maturity, governance effectiveness and accountability.
• Provide governance oversight of core data protection processes and ensure effective systems and controls.
• Develop and maintain an annual compliance monitoring programme and conduct reviews across functions.
• Liaise with regulators, auditors and external advisers as required and build cross-organisational relationships.
• Lead, develop and mentor direct reports to deliver key activities with clear goals.
