Job summary

Lex Consultancy Recruitment is seeking an experienced Governance & Compliance Executive for a newly created hybrid role in Dublin area. You will lead governance, compliance, complaints management and data protection, reporting to senior management and regulators.

You will also line manage one Administration Officer, ensuring policy adherence and staff training, while coordinating with legal advisors and the board on governance matters.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in governance, compliance, regulatory, complaints or related area.
• Experience supervising staff and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles.
• Excellent communication, organizational and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee organisation’s complaints process and governance activities.
• Support the Complaints Committee with meetings, reporting, procedures and case management.
• Assess complaints and identify matters requiring investigation or escalation.
• Liaise with regulators, legal advisors and external stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and training on governance and compliance.
