Zusammenfassung

FBD Holdings plc in Dublin is seeking an experienced claims professional to join a customer-focused team handling liability claims from registration to settlement, including direct settlement, pre-litigation, and litigation stages.

You will manage Motor Liability, Employer Liability, Public Liability, and Personal Accident claims, ensuring compliant processes, timely decisions, and focus on excellent service while collaborating with solicitors, Injuries Board, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years+ experience in handling similar claims portfolio.
• Strong technical knowledge of liability claims handling and understanding of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board and litigation processes.
• Significant experience managing multiple stakeholders.
• Proactive, highly organised, and detail oriented.

Aufgaben

• Providing first telephone contact for customers in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Ensuring information is captured at notification stage accurately.
• Making early, accurate decisions on indemnity, investigation, liability, quantum, reserving and settlement strategy.
• Targeting settlements with claimants' representatives when appropriate.
• Managing claims within the Injuries Board process.
• Liaising with Legal Defence Team, expert witnesses and service providers for litigation.
• Identifying and proactively handling recovery opportunities and fraud.
• Maintaining high customer service levels and regulatory compliance.
