Job summary

Airflow Services Ltd. is seeking an Installation Technician to install and commission HVAC systems across retail, commercial, and pharmaceutical environments. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality installations while ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations.

You will read schematics, perform pipework, electrical works, and supervise apprentices as part of a collaborative team to meet safety and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with full installation of HVAC systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical and fluid schematics, piping diagrams and related documents.
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
• Proactive, can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
• Full, clean Irish driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission split and multi-type air-conditioning systems.
• Carry out installation work including pipework, bracketry, cabling, and associated mechanical and electrical works.
• Complete and maintain accurate site surveys, commissioning reports, and installation records.
• Support the quotation process by identifying remedial, replacement, or upgrade opportunities.
• Liaise effectively with clients, site contacts, and other contractors on-site.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
• Take responsibility for the development and progression of apprentices or junior technicians under your supervision.
