Job summary

Airflow Services Ltd. is seeking an Installation Technician to install and commission HVAC systems across retail, commercial, and pharmaceutical environments. You will ensure installations meet safety and quality standards while coordinating with clients and site teams.

The role requires City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent, proven experience with DX, multi-type systems, AHUs, and the ability to read electrical and piping schematics. A clean Irish driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent certifications.
• Proven experience in the full installation of HVAC systems.
• Strong experience with DX systems, split and VRF/VRV systems, air handling units (AHUs), and ventilation plant.
• Experience in commissioning HVAC equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation including electrical and fluid schematics, piping diagrams, and psychrometric diagrams.
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
• Full, clean Irish driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission split and multi-type air-conditioning systems.
• Carry out installation work including pipework, bracketry, cabling, and associated mechanical and electrical works.
• Complete and maintain accurate site surveys, commissioning reports, and installation records.
• Support the quotation process by identifying remedial, replacement, or upgrade opportunities.
• Liaise effectively with clients, site contacts, and other contractors on-site.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
• Take responsibility for the development and progression of apprentices or junior technicians under your supervision.

The Role
