Job summary

Stantec Ireland is seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in HV cable design to deliver high‑voltage transmission infrastructure across Ireland. You will contribute to HVDC interconnectors, offshore and onshore wind, substations, and grid connections, working within a multidisciplinary team through FEED to delivery.

You will support and lead design activities, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers while advancing your career in a supportive

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
Experience in civil substation engineering and HV projects.
Proficiency in HV cable design and international standards.
Experience across Concept, FEED and Detail Design stages.

Responsibilities

Support and lead design activities across all project phases for HV cable systems.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., EirGrid) to resolve technical challenges.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to career development.
