Job summary

ONION SEARCH PTE. LTD. seeks a capable HR and Finance professional to lead full-spectrum HR, payroll, accounting and regulatory compliance. The role covers recruitment, onboarding, EP/DP processing, GST, tax filings, audits and internal controls.

You will manage budgets, cash flow and financial reporting while ensuring MOM rules and Singapore standards are observed. A strong communicator with cross-department coordination is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HRM, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years end-to-end finance and accounting experience, with hands-on in full-set accounts, financial reporting, budgeting, GST, tax filings and audits.
• Minimum 3 years HR & Administration management experience, with knowledge of Singapore employment regulations and EP/DP processes.
• Experience in construction/engineering industry is a plus.
• ACCA or CPA preferred.
• Familiarity with SFRS, MOM regulations, CPF and statutory compliance.
• Experience in procurement, tender administration and GeBIZ would be an advantage.
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills, ability to work independently across departments.

Responsibilities

• HR and Administrative Duties: manage recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits, employee relations and staff engagement.
• Handle EP/DP applications, renewals and cancellations, ensure MOM compliance.
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies, procedures and employment practices per Singapore law.
• Oversee payroll administration, leave management, employee records and HR systems.
• Manage office administration, premises, assets, supplies, vendors and outsourced services.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives and maintain a productive workplace environment.
• Finance and Accounting Duties: oversee full spectrum of accounting and finance functions, full-set accounts, month-end/year-end close, and financial statements per SFRS.
• Manage budgeting, cash flow forecasting, treasury, receivables and payables.
• Monitor project costs, provide timely financial reports and insights to support decisions.
• Oversee GST returns, corporate income tax filings, annual audits and other statutory reporting.
• Establish internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax agents, banks and stakeholders.
