Job summary

Matrix Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for a key role at the site level. You will report to the Site Director and work closely with the leadership team to provide expert HR guidance and support workforce planning, engagement and development.

Responsibilities include driving people strategies, handling employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, succession planning and DEI initiatives while ensuring compliance with legal and audit standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years HR experience, ideally from FMCG/manufacturing/food production.
• Solid understanding of employee relations and employment law.
• Confident coaching, influencing and partnering with stakeholders.
• 3rd level HR or Business Degree is required.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with site leadership to deliver people strategies and workforce plans.
• Advise on employee relations issues such as absence, grievance, disciplinary and performance.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, succession planning and talent development.
• Lead efforts in employee engagement, wellbeing, DEI and community activities.

Your New Job:

As the Site HR Business Partner, you’ll report directly to the Site Director and work closely with the leadership team. This position is all about providing expert HR guidance, supporting workforce planning, employee engagement, and talent development to help drive the business forward.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with site leadership to deliver people strategies and workforce plans
• Advise on employee relations issues such as absence, grievance, disciplinary, and performance management
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and talent development initiatives
• Lead efforts in employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity, equity & inclusion, and community activities
• Monitor HR metrics, manage HR systems, and ensure compliance with all legal and audit standards

What Are We Looking For?:

• At least 5 + years proven HR experience, ideally from an FMCG, manufacturing, or food production background.
• Solid understanding of employee relations and employment law
• Confident coaching, influencing, and partnering with stakeholders
• 3rd level HR or Business Degree
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent practical experience
