Job summary

Harvey's Point Hotel in Donegal is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the Accommodation team and ensure impeccable guest standard across rooms and public areas. You will supervise tasks, manage inventories, and drive shift operations to maintain high service quality.

The role requires at least 2 years in a similar role, strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work weekends in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping or related area.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
• Strong communication and interdepartmental coordination skills.
• Willingness to work weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and supervise guest rooms and public areas.
• Ensure housekeeping staff have necessary supplies.
• Assist in inventory and stock control processes.
• Handle shift-based assignments and room status updates.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Housekeeping on defects and safety compliance.

About Us

Harvey’s Point is a 4 star luxury Donegal hotel set in the idyllic surroundings of Lough Eske with the Bluestack mountains in the background.

The hotel has been at the forefront of the luxury hotel scene for over 30 years and comprises of 101 beautiful bedrooms offering breathtaking scenery at every turn.

Duties

• To inspect and supervise the guest rooms and public areas within the Hotel.

• To ensure that Accommodation staff have the supplies necessary to perform their duties.

• To assist in the inventory process.

• To perform shift-associated work such as room assignment, vacant rooms, discrepancy reports, key controls and turn down assignments and inspections.

• To manage any defects with respect to Maintenance and Housekeeping concerns.

• To work in compliance with all Health and Safety regulations, including Fire, Emergency and Chemical regulations.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience ideally 2 years in a similar role

• Ability to multi-task & prioritize

• Excellent attention to detail is required

• Excellent communication skills to maintain good interdepartmental relations

• Available to work weekdays and weekends

• Must perform well in a fast-paced environment
