Job summary

Talbot Hotel Clonmel is seeking a friendly receptionist to deliver 4-star service to guests both on the phone and in person. You will manage check-ins/outs, handle reservations, and maintain smooth front-desk operations in line with our Empower Your Excellence programme.

You will communicate with guests, upsell hotel services, and work flexible shifts, including weekends. Previous experience is beneficial, and a professional, polished appearance is expected.

Qualifications

• Friendly and professional work attitude.
• Fluent English essential - written and spoken.
• Must be available to work variable shifts.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest inquiries and reservations efficiently.
• Answer switchboard in a warm and friendly manner; take messages.
• Liaise with housekeeping on room allocations.
• Upsell hotel products and services to maximise revenue.
• Maintain 4-star service standards and safeguard company assets.
