Job summary

Parkview Hotel in Wicklow, Ireland is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to lead all F&B operations. You will report to the General Manager and drive service quality, guest satisfaction and financial performance across the bar, restaurant and events.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, recruiting and mentoring staff, managing stock and costs, ensuring health and safety compliance, and building strong guest relationships to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in food and beverage service, ideally in a hotel setting.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar and restaurant operations, ensuring high service standards.
• Recruit, train, and manage F&B staff and performance.
• Develop positive guest relationships and promptly resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Schedule staff, monitor stock levels, and manage costs/vendor relations.
