• Oversee daily hotel operations to meet service and performance standards across departments.
• Lead, supervise and support departmental managers and operational teams.

• Monitor revenue, labour costs, inventory, purchasing and expenditures.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cost control and profitability initiatives.

• Maintain high standards of guest service and handle guest feedback and complaints.
• Ensure compliance with Irish legislation and health, safety, and licensing rules.
• Implement SOPs, quality standards, risk controls and internal controls.
• Prepare management reports and drive continuous improvement in productivity and service.

Job Description

• Support the General Manager in the development, implementation, and monitoring of operational strategies, business plans, and performance objectives.
• Oversee the day-to-day management and coordination of hotel operations, ensuring all departments operate efficiently and consistently achieve service and performance standards.
• Lead, supervise, and support departmental managers and operational teams, promoting accountability, employee engagement, professional development, and high-performance standards.
• Coordinate workforce planning, recruitment, staffing, training, scheduling, succession planning, and performance management activities.
• Translate business objectives into operational plans and monitor progress against agreed targets and key performance indicators.
• Monitor revenue performance, labour costs, inventory, purchasing, and operating expenditure to support the achievement of financial and commercial targets.
• Assist with budget preparation, financial forecasting, cost control, and profitability improvement initiatives.
• Review operational and financial reports, identify performance trends and variances, and implement corrective actions where required.
• Establish and maintain high standards of guest service throughout the hotel, ensuring the delivery of exceptional hospitality experiences.
• Manage guest feedback, customer satisfaction initiatives, complaint resolution processes, and service improvement programmes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Irish legislation, including health and safety, food safety, employment, licensing, and operational regulations.
• Oversee the implementation and monitoring of standard operating procedures, quality standards, risk management processes, and internal controls.
• Monitor inventory management, purchasing procedures, supplier performance, and resource utilisation to maximise operational effectiveness.
• Prepare management reports and performance analyses for the General Manager, including recommendations for operational and commercial improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance productivity, profitability, service consistency, employee performance, and guest satisfaction.
