Job summary

Teamworx is seeking a commercially driven General Manager for a landmark Dublin City Centre bar. You will own the venue’s performance from P&L to customer experience, with the owner backing and clear growth targets.

Expect a strong base salary plus up to 20% bonus as turnover milestones are hit. You’ll lead a high-performing team, build and deliver growth plans, and manage stock, pricing and supplier terms.

Qualifications

• X years of senior bar/hospitality management experience (7+ preferred)
• Demonstrated transformation of venue sales or performance with measurable results
• Strong commercial skills: P&L ownership, GP & wage control, budgeting & forecasting

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L and weekly sales reporting
• Build a growth plan and manage budgets/forecasts
• Drive upselling, pricing, and menu engineering to raise average spend
• Lead from the floor, recruit and develop a high-performing team
• Plan events, live music, and tourist-focused activities to boost trade
• Maintain licensing, health/safety, and HACCP compliance
• Develop marketing calendars and partnerships with tourism operators
• Protect and grow online reviews and guest loyalty
