Job summary

HSE West North West is seeking a Maintenance Foreman to lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for the upkeep and development of hospital buildings, plant and equipment. You will coordinate maintenance programmes, supervise trades and contractors, and ensure safe, efficient operation of mechanical and electrical services.

You will plan daily/weekly objectives, manage budgets and procurement, and drive energy conservation while maintaining high patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital or large facility maintenance.
• Ability to plan daily/weekly objectives and preventative maintenance programs.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance of buildings, mechanical and electrical services.
• Oversee contractors and ensure quality, safety and timely delivery.
• Plan and manage maintenance budgets and procurement.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and QA procedures.
• Lead and develop maintenance team and report progress to managers.
