Job summary

Company Details Confidential in Dublin requires an experienced Hotel Maintenance and Operational Manager to oversee two hotel buildings. The role focuses on hands-on maintenance, plumbing and electrical work, and ensuring high standards of guest facilities.

You will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate contractors, and uphold safety and quality across both properties, delivering reliable service and a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Previous experience working in a hotel environment is essential.
• Good practical knowledge of plumbing, electrical maintenance and general building repairs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional and welcoming attitude towards hotel guests and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and solve problems effectively.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, proactive and responsible approach to work.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of two hotel buildings.
• Carry out general maintenance, plumbing repairs and basic electrical maintenance within your training.
• Conduct regular building inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel staff and management.
• Ensure guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
• Identify and report maintenance issues and coordinate specialist contractors when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
