St Patrick’s Mental Health Services is seeking a Facilities Foreperson to lead a multidisciplinary team in a 39-hour week (Mon–Thu 8:00–16:30, Fri 8:00–15:30). The 1.0 WTE role is full-time and permanent, based in Dublin 8 as part of the facilities department.

The package includes a salary on the foreman scale (€53,795–€56,953), on-call and travel allowances, 23 days leave, pension, training, and onsite amenities. The post reports to the Facilities Manager.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years’ post-apprenticeship in a mechanical or electrical trade.
• Experience in commercial maintenance in their trade.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Experience managing a team.
• Proficient computer literacy.
• Broad technical knowledge.
• Broad knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Able to multitask in a busy environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Manage, supervise and develop a multidisciplinary Facilities team.
• Prioritise works and schedule tasks.
• Work orders through CMMS and sign off.
• Document meter readings and monitor consumptions.
• Participate in Legionella prevention and ensure PPMs are completed.
• Maintain hospital vehicles.
• Ensure Health & Safety collaboration with the department.
• Work at heights with proper training.
• Create, prioritise, assign and monitor daily work orders in CMMS.
• Review contractor RAMS and ensure permits.
• Deliver fortnightly reports to the Assistant Facilities Manager.
• Attend emergency callouts and support out-of-hours maintenance.
