Job summary

Be Independent Home Care is recruiting Home Care Assistants for morning, evening, and weekend hours in Swords. Excellent rates from €14.50 per hour, with premium pay on bank holidays and year‑end increases.

Training and induction are provided, with mileage allowance for driving carers. We value cheerful, dependable individuals who can offer companionship, personal support, meal preparation and mobility help to clients in the local area.

Qualifications

• Cheerful, caring, positive and dependable individual.
• Experience providing care in the home preferred.
• Level 5 QQI Healthcare qualification desirable but training provided if needed.
• Will pass Garda clearance.
• Character references and permission to work required.
• Fluent English essential.
• Drivers and cyclists preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and personal support to clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living, meal preparation and mobility.
• Deliver care in clients' homes in the Swords area.
• Maintain a respectful, safe and clean care environment.
