Job summary

Hibernia Home Care is hiring Healthcare Assistants for evening and weekend shifts across Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow and Meath. No prior care experience is required—training is provided. You will assist clients at home with personal care, meals, routines, and companionship.

We offer flexible hours (15, 20, or 25 per week) and pay from €15/hour, with enhanced evening/weekend rates up to €20/hour. Garda Vetting and QQI Level 5 are required; mileage and health benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must have current eligibility to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting readiness.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (Care Skills and Care of the Older Person) required.
• Full training and induction provided; no prior care experience required.
• Availability for evening and/or weekend shifts; reliable and motivated.

Responsibilities

• Support clients at home with personal care, routines, meals and companionship.
• Follow care plans, document changes, and maintain consistent care schedules.
• Provide settling-in visits and support in the evenings and weekends.
