Job summary

Redline Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Ireland, covering CCTV, vehicle-based electronics and driver assistance systems. This home-based role involves installation, servicing, preventative maintenance, fault rectification and strong customer liaison across the bus, coach and rail sectors.

You will work with remotely based engineers, travel across the region, and mentor less experienced colleagues when required. A full driving licence and an electrical qualification are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding on vehicle-based electrical/electronic systems.
• Experience maintaining CCTV systems, DVRs, telematics and driver‑assistance technologies.
• Experience in field service or installation engineering environments.
• Full driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and fault‑find on vehicle-based electrical/electronic systems as part of a remotely based team.
• Provide preventative maintenance (PPM) and fault rectification within agreed timescales.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and accurate reporting to management.
• Manage stock, tools and company equipment; comply with health and safety procedures.
