Red Chair Recruitment is seeking an organised Transport Administrator to manage a fleet of around 25 HGV trucks in County Kerry. You will oversee servicing, inspections, CVRT testing, compliance documentation and cost monitoring to keep the fleet in peak condition.

The role is permanent with a starting salary in the region of €35,000–€40,000 per year, depending on experience. You will work closely with drivers, garages and suppliers and use fleet management systems and Excel to maintain accurate

Qualifications

• Experience in transport or logistics administration.
• Experience with HGVs or fleet operations is advantageous.
• Understanding servicing schedules and CVRT testing.
• Strong organisational and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and fleet systems.
• Good communication and proactive deadline management.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate scheduled servicing, maintenance and inspections.
• Monitor CVRT testing and roadworthiness documentation.
• Maintain vehicle files, service cards and compliance records.
• Track tax, insurance and certificates for the fleet.
• Liaise with garages, dealerships and suppliers for servicing.
• Prepare cost reports and monitor maintenance expenditure.
• Provide admin support to transport and operations teams.
