Gerard Coughlan Haulage Ltd t/a Coughlan Haulage is currently seeking experienced HGV Mechanics to join our expanding transport and logistics operation. Company Address: Cloneen, Templemore Road, Co Tipperary, E53 FT22.The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repair of Heavy Goods Vehicles to ensure compliance with Irish road safety and transport regulations.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailersDiagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults. The ideal candidate will have Volvo Diagnostic experience.Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with RSA and CVRT standardsMaintain accurate service and repair recordsEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulationsWork as part of a team to minimise vehicle downtime, at times you will also work independently so should be self motivated.Relevant Trade Certificate required. Salary range: €36,605 - €44,000 per annum based on working 39 hours per week.
