Job summary

Connected Health is seeking a confident Rapid Response Healthcare Assistant to deliver urgent, hands-on home care across Ireland. You’ll support clients in new packages, ensuring safety, comfort and independence within their communities.

The role requires 1+ year homecare experience, QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care, and a valid driving licence. Enjoy fortnightly pay, mileage, and ongoing training while advancing your career with a leading home care provider.

Qualifications

• 1+ year homecare in Ireland.

• Weekend availability for rota shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff shadowing and health & safety compliance.
• Rapid response to emergencies and new care packages.
• Evaluate quality of care and report concerns to the area manager.
• Check and collect journal notes from clients’ homes.
• Deliver care plans, log sheets and PPE to clients’ homes.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.

Who we are looking for:

• Experience in homecare (1+ year in Ireland) - they want someone already familiar with home settings
• QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care - a formal qualification is required
• Driving licence + car - essential due to travel between clients

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• To be responsible for staff shadowing - ensuring Health & Safety policies and procedures
• To undertake emergency over - Rapid response (filling new packages and discharges)
• To evaluate and monitor the quality of the care delivered to clients and report to the area manager with concerns
• Checking and collecting journal notes from clients houses
• Delivery of Careplans, log sheets and gloves to client's homes when required
• Delivery of PPE
