Job summary
Connected Health Group Limited seeks a Rapid Response Healthcare Assistant to deliver urgent, hands-on care in clients’ homes across Ireland. You will support immediate care needs, step into new packages, and help ensure safety, comfort and independence in the community.
Ideal candidates have 1+ year homecare experience, QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care, and a valid driving licence with access to a car. Competitive salary, sign-on bonus, mileage paid, fortnightly pay, and progression
Qualifications
- Experience in homecare (1+ year in Ireland).
- QQI Level 5 in Health & Social Care required.
- Driving licence + car essential due to travel between clients.
- Calm under pressure due to rapid changes in care needs.
- Strong communication & organisation for juggling visits and reporting.
- Compassion and empathy core to homecare work.
- Weekend flexibility required due to rota system.
Responsibilities
- Provide rapid response care to clients in their homes.
- Support new care packages and discharges.
- Monitor and report on care quality to area manager.
- Collect and review journal notes from clients’ homes.
- Deliver care plans, logs, and PPE to client locations.
- Undertake additional reasonable duties as required.
