Job summary

Access Healthcare is recruiting Healthcare Assistants to support Moycullen and surrounding areas in Co. Galway. The role involves assisting with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily living activities, in line with individual care plans. A full driving licence may be advantageous for rural locations.

Shifts include morning/day, long day, and occasional nights; pay starts from €15 per hour with shift premiums; weekly pay and ongoing agency assignments are offered by Access Healthcare.

Responsibilities

Job description

Location: Moycullen and surrounding areas, Co. Galway
Setting: Healthcare and residential care services
Position: Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

Shift Patterns:

• Morning/day shifts: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM

• Long day shifts: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

• Occasional night shifts may be available

Pay Rate: Starting from €15 per hour, plus applicable premiums for qualifying shifts.

About the Role

Access Healthcare is recruiting caring, reliable and motivated Healthcare Assistants to support healthcare services in Moycullen and the surrounding areas of Co. Galway.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and supporting people with their daily living needs while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Due to the location of some services, having a full driving licence and access to a car may be an advantage, particularly for candidates travelling to more rural locations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an Irish healthcare setting is essential.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• A caring, patient and professional approach.

• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

• Flexibility to work the advertised shifts, with occasional night shifts as required.

• A full driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage due to the location of some services.
