Job summary

Resilience Healthcare Limited is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our Residential Services across multiple locations in Ireland. You will provide professional, high-quality and safe care to people with additional needs, working as part of a supportive team and in consultation with each service user.

Qualifications

• FETAC/QQI Level 5/Social Care/healthcare assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Completed or willing to complete a Patient Manual Handling course.
• Applicant must be legally entitled to work within Ireland and the EU.
• A strong sense of empathy, flexibility and a team-oriented work ethic.
• A Full Driving Licence is essential.
• Previous experience with adults/children with disabilities is advantageous.

You will be a healthcare assistant working across our Residential Services. Hours: Full time permanent 40 hours. Salary is €33,530 to €36,004.

You will provide a professional, high quality and safe service as a healthcare assistant to people with additional needs - working as part of a team and in consultation with each service user. You will make sure all of the client's needs are met in a completely individual way, and as an ambassador of Resilience's values, you will represent Best Quality - providing best-in-class care always. Responsibilities

• The delivery of client care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of Support Plans
• Ensure that practices within the service comply with Resilience's policies and procedures, to maintain the highest standards
• Liaise with Multi-Disciplinary Teams ('MDTs') when required
• Provide support to colleagues within the team setting
• Act as a mentor for new staff and foster a positive learning environment
• Participate in the development and review of risk assessments and report concerns

Requirements

• FETAC/QQI level 5/Social Care/healthcare assistant qualification or equivalent
• Completed or be willing to complete a Patient Manual Handling course
• Applicant must be legally entitled to work within Ireland and the EU.
• A strong sense of empathy, flexibility and a team-oriented work ethic.
• Previous experience working with adults/children with physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities would be an advantage
• A Full Drivers Licence is essential.
