CareChoice Nursing Home Group is recruiting full-time, experienced Healthcare Assistants for our nursing homes in Cork, Ireland. Locations include Brookfield Care Centre (Leamlara), CareChoice Macroom, CareChoice Clonakilty, CareChoice Ballynoe and Beaumont Residential Care.

Responsibilities include supporting nursing staff, maintaining residents’ hygiene and dignity, assisting with meals and mobility, escorting residents, End-of-Life care, and other duties assigned by nurses and management.

Formación

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare preferred.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support preferred.
• Driving Licence preferred.
• Experience in healthcare is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting the nursing staff in providing high-quality holistic care to residents.
• Ensuring residents’ hygiene and personal care needs are maintained with dignity.
• Assisting residents with eating and drinking according to nutrition needs.
• Assisting with mobilising and using appropriate aids.
• Escorting or transferring residents as directed by nursing staff.
• Assisting in End-of-Life care and other duties as set by management.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Supporting the nursing staff in providing high-quality holistic care to our residents.
• Ensuring residents hygiene/personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while maintaining the resident’s dignity at all times.
• Assisting residents with eating and drinking in line with their nutrition needs.
• Assisting residents with mobilising as appropriate and using correct aids.
• Escorting or/and transfer residents as directed by the Nursing staff.
• Assisting in End-of-Life Care.
• Any other duties deemed necessary by nurse and management.
