Job summary

Westcare Homecare Ltd in Kingscourt is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to provide daily living support, companionship and basic care for clients in the Kingscourt area.

You will help with tasks like washing, dressing and meals, support mobility, monitor wellbeing, and report concerns. Full Irish driving licence and access to a car beneficial; QQI Level 5 or equivalent; training provided; flexible hours and mileage offered.

Qualifications

• Full Irish driving licence & access to a car.
• A caring, reliable, and positive attitude.
• Experience in care is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with daily tasks (washing, dressing, meals).
• Support mobility and independence.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
