MedGen Healthcare Ireland is seeking Healthcare Assistants for multiple positions across County Sligo. Earn €20-€45 per hour.

You will support nursing staff, deliver person-centred care, assist with personal appearance and hygiene, and participate in social activities while helping maintain a safe, clean home environment. QQI Level 5 in healthcare and 6 months' experience are required, with fluent English and eligibility to work in Ireland.

Competenze

• QQI Level 5 qualification in healthcare (or equivalent).
• Minimum 6 months experience in a healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Pay:

MedGen Healthcare Ireland are looking for Healthcare Assistants, for a number of positions across County Sligo

Role Requirements:

• Supporting the nursing staff and team in delivering quality person-centred care to meet the needs of residents




• Getting to know residents’ interests and needs providing attention, support and companionship




• Enabling and assisting residents to maintain their personal appearance /hygiene needs whilst always maintaining their dignity




• Participating, organising and carrying out social activities




• Assisting in the upkeep of high standards of cleanliness in the home




• Contributing to the maintenance of Health and Safety in the home




• Any other duties deemed necessary by Nurse in Charge and management

Candidate Requirements:

• QQI Level 5 qualification in healthcare (or equivalent)




• Minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare environment




• Excellent communication skills




• Can work independently and/or part of a team




• Valid eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland




• Fluent level of English, both written and oral
