Job summary

AA Euro Group seeks Relief Healthcare Assistants to support adults with intellectual disabilities in Sligo and surrounding areas. You will provide person-centred care, assist with daily living activities and help residents maintain independence.

Applicants should hold QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification with at least 6 months’ experience in similar settings. Garda vetting and references are required; flexible shifts offered within a supportive team.

We are currently recruiting Relief Healthcare Assistants to support residential services for adults with intellectual disabilities in Sligo and surrounding areas.

As a Relief Healthcare Assistant, you will play an important role in providing high-quality, person-centred support to residents, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

This is a varied role that may involve working across different shifts and services depending on operational requirements.

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification



• Minimum 6 months' experience working with adults with challenging behaviours.


• Previous experience working in an intellectual disability, social care, healthcare or residential care setting is highly desirable.



• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.




• A compassionate, patient and person-centred approach.




• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.




• Current legal entitlement to work in Ireland.
