Job summary

CareChoice Nursing Home Group is recruiting full-time, experienced Healthcare Assistants for our nursing homes across Ireland, including Swords, Finglas, Malahide Road, Parnell Road Step Down, Newtownpark House, and more. In-person work with a 39-hour week and an annual salary of €32,691.

You will support nursing staff in delivering holistic care, assist with personal care, nutrition, mobility, and end-of-life care, with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year healthcare experience preferred
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare preferred
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support preferred
• Driving Licence preferred

Responsibilities

• Supporting the nursing staff in providing high-quality holistic care to residents.
• Ensuring residents hygiene/personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while maintaining dignity.
• Assisting residents with eating and drinking in line with nutrition needs.
• Assisting residents with mobilising and using correct aids.
• Escorting or transfer of residents as directed by Nursing staff.
• Assisting in End-of-Life Care.
• Any other duties deemed necessary by nurse and management.
