Job summary

CareChoice Group Ireland is seeking Healthcare Assistants (full-time/part-time) to join our team in Ireland. You will support nursing staff, assist residents with personal care, meals, mobility, and End-of-Life care within a diverse, multi-cultural setting.

QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or related qualification is preferred, with excellent communication and English skills. Varied shifts across days, nights and weekends are available, with comprehensive induction and ongoing training."

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or working towards.
• Past experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, caring attitude.
• Have a good level of English language skills.
• Availability to work varied shift patterns days, nights & weekends, across Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the nursing staff in providing high-quality holistic care to our residents.
• Ensuring residents hygiene/personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while maintaining the resident's dignity at all time.
• Assisting residents with eating and drinking in line with their nutrition needs.
• Assisting residents with mobilizing as appropriate and using correct aids.
• Escorting or/and transfer residents as directed by the Nursing staff.
• Assisting in End-of-Life Care.
• Any other duties deemed necessary by nurse and management.
