Job summary

Brightpath Recruitment is seeking a Safety Officer for a live Hospital project in Wexford Town. Immediate start available for an experienced EHS professional. You will drive health and safety standards, ensure full compliance with Irish EHS legislation, and manage RAMS, SOPs and PTW processes.

The role requires site inspections, incident investigations and delivering inductions and toolbox talks to staff. You will lead risk assessments, audits, and training to ensure compliance and a safe live

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
• IOSH membership, Safe Pass and CSCS.
• 3 years of EHS experience within construction.
• Strong understanding of Irish EHS legislation.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for driving health and safety standards, ensuring full compliance with EHS legislation and navigating the complex operational environment of a live environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct daily EHS inspections across active construction zones.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure strict compliance with all construction regulations and operational procedures.
• Risk Management: Review and approve RAMS, SOP's and PTW applications.
• Incident Investigations: Lead analysis for any near-misses, incidents or accidents.
• Inductionand Training: Toolbox talks, EHS inductionand targeted staff briefings.

Requirements
