Job summary

Brightpath Recruitment is seeking a Safety Officer for a live Hospital project in Wexford Town. Immediate start available for an experienced EHS professional. You will drive health and safety standards, ensure full compliance with Irish EHS legislation, and manage RAMS, SOPs and PTW processes.

The role requires site inspections, incident investigations and delivering inductions and toolbox talks to staff. You will lead risk assessments, audits, and training to ensure compliance and a safe live

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
• IOSH membership, Safe Pass and CSCS.
• 3 years of EHS experience within construction.
• Strong understanding of Irish EHS legislation.

Responsibilities

• Site inspections across active construction zones and audits.
• Ensure compliance with construction regulations and procedures.
• Review RAMS, SOPs and PTW applications.
• Lead investigations for near-misses and incidents.
• Deliver toolbox talks and EHS inductions to staff.
