Job summary

Depaul is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator in Dublin to support governance, auditing, and training material development. Hybrid role with 2 days on site, 35 hours per week, reporting to the Facilities Group Manager.

The candidate should have strong report writing skills and knowledge of H&S legislation, with experience auditing and developing safety policies across multiple sites. This permanent role offers a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and managing Health & Safety standards (essential).
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance.
• Experience with quality standards such as NQSF/QAF advantageous.
• Ability to plan and carry out audits and write action plans.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate annual reviews of local Safety Statements and risk assessments.
• Lead fire safety risk assessments and liaise with contractors.
• Develop Health & Safety resources and publish internal communications.
• Support staff to enhance understanding and compliance with Health & Safety standards.
• Develop training material related to Health & Safety and auditing.
• Undertake audit tools development and track corrective actions.
