Job summary

The Panel is seeking a Head of Technology - Transformation & Integration to drive, own and deliver a major platform integration programme across its Midlands-based manufacturing group. You will set direction, lead the team and act as the technical authority for modernising legacy systems and integrating ERP, finance and reporting platforms.

Head of Technology - Transformation & Integration

Permanent - Based in Midlands

Hybrid Model - 4 days in Office and 1 day remote.

A fast-growing, acquisitive manufacturing group is modernising the in-house platform that runs its businesses and rolling it out across the group, and is hiring a technology leader to DRIVE the integration and own it end to end. You will set the direction, lead and drive the integration.

The group has already brought a number of its companies onto standardised group systems, supported SAP deployment across them, and rolled its in-house systems out on Power Platform, Azure SQL and Access, and now wants to continue that integration across the remaining businesses. You will go into each business, understand how it works, and shape how the group's systems integrate to fit, then lead the programme and the team that delivers it. This is an ownership role blending business process, integration and leadership, not a pure governance seat.

What the role needs:

• A track record of modernising legacy systems and integrating them with finance, ERP and reporting platforms.
• Experience leading integrations and acting as the technical authority.
• Experience of integrating systems from other companies into a shared platform.

Also useful:

• Azure (App Services, Azure SQL) and GitHub-based workflows.
• Integration with finance or ERP systems (e.g. SAP Business One) or AP automation.
• A manufacturing, engineering or industrial background.
