Job summary

The Panel is seeking a Technical Lead / Programme Manager for systems integration to rebuild legacy applications into modern web and mobile apps, and to design and implement REST APIs on an Azure SQL platform. You will drive multi-site rollout and own end-to-end delivery, working closely with business users and developers.

Technical Lead / Programme Manager - Systems Integration

Permanent – based in Midlands (4 days in office)

Systems integration / business process / SAP / Power Platform / Azure SQL / multi-site rollout / manufacturing

A fast-growing, acquisitive manufacturing group is rebuilding the in-house platform that runs its businesses and integrating it out across the group. We want a hands-on Technical Lead to drive the integration : rebuilding legacy Access and PowerApps applications as modern web and mobile apps in React and TypeScript, building and consuming REST APIs on an Azure SQL platform, and wiring in third-party finance and business systems. This is hands-on, systems integration, end-to-end development with real ownership.

They have already integrated a number of companies onto the group standardised systems, supported SAP deployment across them, and rolled its in-house systems out on Power Platform, Azure SQL and Access, and now wants to continue that work across the remaining businesses. You will go into each business, map how it operates, and integrate the group's systems to fit its processes, then plan and drive that rollout company by company while leading the delivery team. Close to the detail of process and integration, directing the developers who build.

Experience

• Good SQL and solid relational database design (Azure SQL ideal).


• Experience building integrations between systems, including finance or business platforms.


• Comfort working with GitHub, pull requests and modern, AI-assisted development.


• The ability to guide or mentor other developers and work directly with business users.

Also useful:

• Rebuilding or replacing legacy applications (e.g. MS Access, PowerApps) with modern web equivalents.


• Azure services (App Services, Azure SQL) and React Native for mobile.


• Integration with finance or ERP systems (e.g. SAP Business One) or AP automation.


• On boarding sister companies to a shared platform.
