Job summary

HRM Search Partners is representing an established international pharmaceutical manufacturing business seeking a Head of Supply Chain to lead its end-to-end function across procurement, planning, materials management, warehousing and logistics.

The successful candidate will drive improvements in efficiency, cost and service, oversee ERP systems, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and Commercial teams to ensure compliant, reliable supply to global markets.

Qualifications

• Significant supply chain leadership experience within manufacturing.
• Experience across planning, procurement, inventory management and logistics.
• Strong ERP systems capability and data-driven improvements.
• Proven commercial and supplier management skills.
• Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams.
• Track record of delivering improvements in efficiency, cost and customer service.
• Experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences, consumer health or FMCG manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the supply chain function, driving accountability and performance.
• Oversee demand and supply planning, production scheduling and inventory management.
• Manage procurement, strategic sourcing and supplier relationships.
• Oversee warehousing, logistics and distribution to ensure reliable customer supply.
• Drive improvements in supply chain efficiency, cost, working capital and service performance.
• Optimise ERP systems and reporting to strengthen planning, visibility and decision-making.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality and Commercial teams to support business objectives and regulatory compliance.

With a focus on strengthening operational performance, improving efficiency and supporting continued growth, the business is seeking to appoint a Head of Supply Chain to lead its end-to-end supply chain function.

The Role

The Head of Supply Chain will lead procurement, planning, materials management, warehousing and logistics, ensuring effective coordination across manufacturing and commercial operations.
