Job summary

Teckro, a fast-growing Irish technology company, seeks an Interim Head of HR to lead people strategy as we scale. You will shape workforce design, drive recruitment, performance, rewards, and employee relations across our Ireland, US, and UK teams.

Reporting to the leadership team, you will build a high-trust HR function, develop capability, monitor KPIs, and partner with Finance and Legal to ensure compliant growth and engaged, resilient teams across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in HR/People Ops, incl 3+ years leading a function or as senior HR Partner.
• Proven delivery in a high-growth environment: hiring at pace and retention.
• Strong Irish employment law and ER knowledge; UK/US awareness helpful.
• Credible adviser to senior executives and HR team leadership.
• Data-led, with HRIS and ATS experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the people strategy and annual plan; advise on organisation design and culture.
• Partner with Finance on headcount and budget; with Chief of Staff on onboarding and cross-functional projects.
• Lead change through growth and restructuring.
• Own recruitment model and hiring plan (in-house, agency, referrals).
• Set hiring standards: structured interviews and salary-band aligned offers.
• Own the performance cycle, calibration and probation processes.
• Build career frameworks and succession plans for critical roles.
• Define compensation philosophy, salary bands and pay review processes.
• Lead engagement survey and retention action planning.
• Manage complex employee relations and provide legal HR advice when needed.
• Ensure compliant arrangements for US/UK teams with payroll providers.
• Own HR policies and GDPR data in partnership with Legal/DPO.
• Own HRIS and monthly leadership dashboard.
• Lead and develop the HR team and manage the People budget.
