Job summary

Sodexo Ireland is seeking an experienced Head of Operations – Integrated Facilities Management to lead the delivery of FM services for a major account in Naas, Co. Kildare.

This senior role requires ensuring safe, compliant and efficient Hard and Soft FM in a GMP-sensitive manufacturing setting. You will act as the senior FM lead, manage a multidisciplinary team, and own the site budget while driving continuous improvement, energy and waste performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a senior management or leadership role within Integrated Facilities Management.
• Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams in a manufacturing/GMP setting.
• Degree-level qualification in Engineering, Business or Management.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior FM lead and primary client contact, aligning delivery with GMP requirements.
• Lead daily hard and soft services, including maintenance, cleaning, security, waste, grounds and catering.
• Oversee maintenance of critical assets and lifecycle management.
• Promote strong EHS, food safety and GMP culture with regulatory compliance.
• Manage suppliers and service partners to ensure high standards.
• Own the site budget and balance cost with service quality.
• Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team across technical, cleaning and support services.
• Drive mobilisation, stabilisation and continuous improvement at the new-build site.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy, water and waste performance for sustainability.
• Build strong client relationships and identify value-add opportunities.

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €80,000 per annum plus Sodexo Benefits

We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations – Integrated Facilities Management to lead the delivery of FM services for a major account in Naas, Co. Kildare. This is a senior operational role within a complex, high-volume manufacturing environment, where you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of both Hard and Soft FM services in a GMP-sensitive setting.

The Role

• Act as the senior FM lead and primary point of contact for the client, aligning FM delivery with production priorities and GMP requirements.
• Lead the day-to-day delivery of Hard and Soft Services, including technical maintenance, cleaning, security, waste, grounds and catering support.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance of critical assets and drive effective asset lifecycle management.
• Lead a strong EHS, food safety and GMP culture, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.
• Manage suppliers, subcontractors and service partners to ensure high standards of delivery.
• Own the site budget and financial performance, balancing cost control with service quality.
• Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary team across technical, cleaning and support services.
• Drive mobilisation, stabilisation and continuous improvement across the new-build site.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy, water and waste performance and support the client’s sustainability goals.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to add value to the contract.

About You

• 5+ years’ experience in a senior management or leadership role within Integrated Facilities Management.
• Proven experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally with strong GMP experience.
• A relevant degree-level qualification in Engineering, Business, Management or a related discipline.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
• Strong experience managing contractors, suppliers and project works.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership and client relationship skills.
• A proactive, hands‑on approach with strong commercial awareness.
• Good IT skills, including MS Office, Outlook and SharePoint.
• Experience with new-build industrial environments, PSDP, Legionella and water quality, asset management or Authorised Person systems would be advantageous.
