Qualifications

• Extensive background within large, multi-site international road freight, freight forwarding, and warehousing environments.
• Demonstrated success in a senior commercial or sales leadership role with a history of delivering on growth, margin targets, and long-term strategic objectives.
• Exceptional skills in contract negotiation, complex tender participation, and identifying untapped market opportunities.
• Proven ability to manage, inspire, and drive results through a sales and commercial team.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute a clear, transparent commercial strategy across Ireland, working with the Irish MD and European Overland sales organisations.
• Maximize profitable growth across new and existing customer portfolios through volume expansion and product development.
• Build, manage, and drive a robust pipeline of high-value prospective business across road freight and warehousing solutions.
• Lead, motivate, and direct the commercial team to deliver against business development plans and strategic targets.
• Partner with Branch and Operational Managers to guarantee onboarding, service delivery, and client retention.
• Oversee major tender activities, provide contractual commercial guidance, and ensure tailored logistics solutions are implemented.
• Deliver structured performance reviews, commercial updates, and risk analysis to senior management.
