Job summary

Actavo, a leading employer in the Irish construction and infrastructure sectors, seeks a Head of HR to provide strategic leadership across the people agenda. You will shape and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives and position Actavo as an employer of choice.

Working with senior leadership, you will drive organisational development, reward programmes and HR governance, balancing strategic direction with robust, compliant people practices across the Group.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified with CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent).
• 5+ years proven experience in a senior HR leadership role.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence at Executive level.
• Extensive knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Experience leading organisational change and business transformation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
• Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering or related sectors is advantageous.

Job description

The Head of HR will provide strategic leadership and direction across all aspects of the people agenda. The role is responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with business objectives while ensuring Actavo remains an employer of choice.

Working closely with senior leadership, the Head of HR will lead organisational development, employee relations, leadership development, reward programmes and HR governance across the Group.

The role will balance strategic leadership with operational excellence, ensuring robust HR processes, compliance and people practices are embedded throughout the business.
