Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a Group Estimating Manager to lead the Power & Renewables estimating function, delivering commercial excellence on major infrastructure projects across Europe. You will shape estimating strategies, mentor a high-performing team, and partner with senior stakeholders to secure winning tenders.

Qualifications

• Significant estimating leadership experience within Power, Renewables, Utilities, Energy Infrastructure, or a related sector.
• Strong commercial and technical understanding of large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing estimating teams.
• Experience managing complex tenders from initial enquiry through to final adjudication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating function across Power & Renewables projects.
• Drive excellence throughout the tendering and bid management process.
• Manage tender adjudications and support key commercial decision-making.
• Coach, mentor, and develop a team of estimators, fostering continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Business Unit Managers, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure high-quality tender submissions.
• Develop and maintain cost databases, benchmarking data, and project performance statistics.
